QOTTO seized the opportunity of co-financing projects of the "Off-Grid Clean Energy Facility" (OCEF) of the MCA-BENIN II through a call for project proposals. It was selected by the OCEF during the 2nd call for proposals with the project "Electrification of 8800 rural households with QOTTO SHS". On June 05, 2020, a co-funding agreement was signed between QOTTO and MCA-Benin II. This agreement marks the beginning of the partnership with the MCA-Benin II OCEF Facility. Read more.

MCA Benin II is co-funding the "Electrification of 8,800 rural households with QOTTO SHS" project with an amount of US$ 1,800,000. The results approach is the one used by the OCEF Facility to disburse funds.
At each milestone reached, a percentage of the co-financing amount is disbursed. The maximum total number of disbursements is 5. The total number of milestones is also 5.
QOTTO has already reached its first milestone "1760 kits received". It has already received the first disbursement representing 20% of the total grant amount. Read more.
